Amore Italy – Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully.
The purchase or payment of any travel services offered by Amore Italy, a division of Zulu Solutions, constitutes a binding agreement between the traveler (“you”) and Zulu Solutions. By booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and accept these Terms & Conditions for yourself and all members of your traveling party. These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time; the version in effect at the time of booking applies.
1. RESERVATIONS & AVAILABILITY
Amore Italy programs are capacity-controlled and offered on a limited basis. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
To reserve a journey, contact your Amore Italy travel specialist or submit an inquiry at AmoreItaly.com.
Your booking is confirmed only after payment is received and a confirmation invoice is issued.
2. DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT
Deposit
A $1000 non-refundable, non-transferable per-person deposit is required to secure your reservation. Some itineraries, special events, or customized services may require additional deposits.
Final Payment
Final payment is due 120 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated on your invoice. Bookings made after the final payment deadline require payment in full at the time of booking.
If final payment is not received by the due date, all components of your reservation may be canceled and are subject to the cancellation fees below.
3. PRICING & INVOICING
You are responsible for reviewing your invoice for accuracy, including traveler names, dates, and selected services. Any discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
Prices are based on exchange rates, supplier costs, and conditions in effect at the time of booking and are subject to change until full payment has been received.
4. FORM OF PAYMENT
Accepted payment methods include:
• Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
• Checks and electronic bank transfer
5. ITINERARIES & CHANGES
All itineraries are subject to change due to weather, supplier availability, local conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. Amore Italy will make every effort to offer comparable alternatives when adjustments are required.
6. CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
If canceled before final payment date:
• Deposit is non-refundable
• Any supplier, airline, or equipment-related fees will apply
• Travel insurance premiums are non-refundable
If canceled after final payment date:
All payments are 100% non-refundable.
This includes trip price, upgrades, optional services, and airfare purchased through Amore Italy.
Our cancellation policies are strictly enforced.
Revisions
A revision fee of $150 per change applies to modifications after booking. Within the final payment period, changes that alter travel dates, itinerary, or passenger names are treated as cancellations.
7. AIR ARRANGEMENTS
Airfare may be purchased through Amore Italy or independently.
If flights are canceled, delayed, or rescheduled, the airline—not Amore Italy—is responsible. If you miss a flight or connection, you must work directly with the airline.
Any overnight stays, meals, or additional costs resulting from airline disruptions are your responsibility.
8. ITEMS NOT INCLUDED
Unless specifically listed as “Included,” the following are excluded:
– International airfare
– Passport/visa fees
– Travel insurance
– Personal expenses (laundry, phone, etc.)
– Additional meals and drinks not stated as included
– Early arrival/late departure transfers
– Any optional experiences not specifically stated as included
– Checked baggage fees or overweight charges
9. RIGHT TO REFUSE OR REMOVE TRAVELERS
Amore Italy reserves the right to refuse service or remove any traveler whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or negatively affects other guests or staff. Removed travelers receive no refund and are responsible for all associated expenses.
10. BAGGAGE
You are responsible for handling your own luggage through airports and train stations. Amore Italy is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to baggage or personal belongings. We strongly recommend minimizing valuables and purchasing baggage insurance.
11. HEALTH, FITNESS & SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
Amore Italy itineraries frequently involve walking on cobblestone streets, stairs, hills, and uneven surfaces.
You must notify us at booking if you require special assistance. Amore Italy does not provide personal mobility support, wheelchair pushing, or one-on-one assistance. If your needs exceed the capability of the tour, participation may be refused or terminated without refund.
12. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
You are responsible for obtaining proper documentation, including passports (valid for 6 months beyond return date), visas (when applicable), and any required health certifications.
Failure to possess required travel documents may result in denied boarding or denied entry, without refund.
13. DATA PROTECTION
By booking with Amore Italy, you consent to the use and sharing of your personal information—including passport details, birthdate, and emergency contact information—with partners, hotels, transportation providers, and government authorities as required for travel.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
Amore Italy is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to: weather, strikes, natural disasters, political unrest, terrorism, pandemics, or government actions. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed.
15. PHOTOS & SOCIAL MEDIA
Amore Italy staff may photograph group activities for marketing purposes. No names will be used. If you wish not to be photographed, please inform your tour leader at the start of the trip.
16. SUPPLIERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Amore Italy packages incorporate services provided by independent suppliers (hotels, transportation companies, guides, etc.). These suppliers operate independently and are not employees or agents of Zulu Solutions.
Amore Italy is not liable for:
– Supplier negligence
– Loss, injury, inconvenience, or delay
– Equipment failure
– Acts of God or force majeure
– Overbooking, schedule changes, or service quality variations
Your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions signifies acceptance of these limitations.
17. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment. Policies may cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, supplier default, and lost baggage.
Failure to purchase insurance significantly increases your financial risk.
18. ARBITRATION
Any dispute arising from your trip or these Terms & Conditions shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in Lincoln, Nebraska, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Acceptance of Terms
By submitting your deposit, you certify that:
• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
• You are physically and mentally able to participate in the itinerary.
• You accept responsibility for verifying all travel documents and invoice accuracy.
